The Prime Hospitality Story
Prime Hospitality Group was founded by husband-and-wife team Kristy and Ryan Rans. As an attorney and expert in real estate development and restaurant concepts respectively, Kristy and Ryan became some of the first non-legacy Ruth’s Chris Steak House franchise owners in the country, building a new generation of trust and quality into the Ruth’s Chris family.
Kristy and Ryan immediately dove into 13 weeks of training in Ruth’s Chris restaurants. During their training program, they worked every position from front of house to back, traveled regionally to enhance their multi-unit management experience and participated in the opening of a new Ruth’s Chris location. This firsthand experience served as the foundation on which Kristy and Ryan have built their teams; each with a focus on delivering the fine dining experience one expects from Ruth’s Chris. The Rans also strive to delight each guest by providing a dining ambiance that incorporates new and innovative design elements. To date, Prime Hospitality Group’s Ruth’s Chris locations have earned some of the highest honors in the entire Ruth’s Chris Steak House Group. In 2018, the Prime family grew with the addition of Bin 23 Bistro Wine Bar & Marketplace, inspired by a love for sharing great food and wine with neighbors. In 2020, The Exchange Whiskey Bar joined the PHG family as a new take on a prohibition-era bar and restaurant, with two locations in Indiana.
As we grow and expand our family, our values and drive remain the same: to keep our promises when it comes to quality, stay fresh in our approach, find and nurture the absolute best team members, and remember that the meal is always amazing, but it’s the experience you go back for.

Bin 23 Bistro & Marketplace
The idea for Bin 23 came from wanting to share our love of wine and food with our neighbors. We highlight a revolving list of our favorite wines from around the world, and our menu leads with bistro specialties and artisan-style pizzas made in an Italian Marra Forni brick oven.
