Prime Hospitality Group Announces New Chief Financial Officer

Indianapolis, Indiana (February 27, 2024) — Prime Hospitality Group (PHG) has named Tim Stobbie Chief Financial Officer for its Ruth’s Chris Steak Houses, Brasserie 23, The Exchanges and hotel F&B operations.

Stobbie comes to PHG with more than 17 years of financial management experience. He spent the past 12 years specializing in the hospitality industry and providing oversight for over 2,000 restaurants around the country. A highly regarded finance executive, Stobbie is a results-oriented professional with experience in business valuation, transactions, planning and forecasting, and merger and acquisition management.

Stobbie started as a mechanical engineer for defense contractors Raytheon and Honeywell, where he performed thermal and structural analysis. In 2006, he launched his finance career as an analyst with Valuation Research Corporation.

In 2012, Tim transitioned into the hospitality industry with Bloomin’ Brands, Inc. in Tampa, Florida. Stobbie spent most of his five years at Bloomin’ supporting all 66 Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar locations. During his time at Bloomin’, he also supported their entire portfolio of restaurants, including Roy’s, Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and Bonefish Grill. Tim then relocated to the West Coast and joined BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. in Huntington Beach, California as a manger. There, he oversaw financial planning and reporting for BJ’s 200+ restaurants. Stobbie is also a CFA® charterholder.

Prior to joining PHG, Stobbie was Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Qdoba Restaurant Corporation, headquartered in San Diego, and its 747 restaurants.
